A Rubbish Fan competition

LEV technology is widely unavailable in many areas of the world. Working with Vent-Tech, WHWB-UK has launched a UK nationwide competition to design a simple LEV using widely available recyclable waste materials.

Aim is to produce a concept design for an LEV system to help protect an individual worker at a desk based workstation.  The parts should be comprised of easily sourced, simple, cheap, ideally waste/recyclable materials.

Open to all young scientists and engineers!

Designs should be on a single sheet and include the following information:

• List of constituent parts and materials, including costs
• Estimated energy requirement
• Estimated level of suction
• Description of waste disposal process
• Help raise awareness as well as solve a workplace problem
