Licensing Information

During the course of its scientific and technical work, HSE develops and produces a broad range of intellectual property assets and information, many of which can be licensed for re-use.  These currently include:

• Crown Copyright materials (e.g. photos & images, film & video footage, software products, survey materials & questionnaires, training material).
• Data derived from our services (e.g. National Population Database data).
• Bespoke IP and products (e.g. LEV training model, FIVES system).

HSE complies with the Re-Use of Public Sector Information Regulations 2005 and follow the principles of the Information Fair Trader Scheme (IFTS).

Our Chief Executive has signed a personal commitment to this effect.

All of our licensing of Crown Copyright materials is undertaken under a Delegation of Authority from the Controller of Her Majesty's Stationery Office.
