Research: Operator Exposure during Application of Pesticides

 

Can you help us understand pesticide exposures? We are looking for volunteers to have their exposures measured while making pesticide applications. We are interested in two different applications - those taking place in crop tunnels using vehicle mounted/trailed equipment and those using vehicle mounted weed wipers.

This work will inform HSE's regulatory decisions in the authorisation of plant protect products for these applications. With this exposure data HSE can ensure that the appropriate standard of protection is provided and that potentially acceptable uses are not restricted.
