Benzene (urine)

We offer biological monitoring for benzene as S-phenylmercapturic acid (S-PMA) in urine. Samples should be taken post-shift. As occupational exposures have been reduced in recent years, environmental exposures (particulalry smoking) can impact results. There is no GB guidance value but international guidance values are available to help interpret results.
