Introduction

HSE will be holding a workshop over 2 half-day sessions on Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs) of pesticides residues in food.

The workshop will cover:

• MRL operational policy
• Great Britain (GB) MRL processes and procedures
• MRLs in Northern Ireland
• Interactive MRL technical workshop sessions focussing on the application of the 2024 GB extrapolation guidance
• Monitoring of pesticide residues in food in the UK

The sessions will be presented by HSE experts who will be available to answer your questions throughout the event.

Who should attend?

The event is targeted at technical and regulatory staff involved in the production of data and submission of MRL applications to HSE. The event will also provide relevant information for parties who have an interest in the trade of commodities treated with pesticides.

Live Online Course Information

All you will need is an internet-connected computer, laptop, or tablet, plus a webcam and microphone. We do not recommend using a smartphone. Before you book, please check that you meet the Zoom System Requirements and run a diagnostic test to ensure the software is compatible with your firewall settings. If this does not work, try adjusting your settings or contact your IT department about permitting the website.
